Noob, Site Explorer

Post by JonnieGT » Thu Jan 07, 2016 4:06 am

I am a noob using FDM. I am trying to download files from Herge-Art.com. (I am a subscriber, and so have an ID and password.)

1) The page http://www.hegre-art.com/models has links to pages for individual models, e.g. (2)
2) Pages like http://www.hegre-art.com/models/clover have links to pages for photo and video shoots, e.g. (3)
3) Pages like http://www.hegre-art.com/galleries/clover-portraits have links to the desired photo (.zip) or video (.mp4) files.

I can enter a level 3 page into site explorer and the files to download will be in the list. If I select an individual file and click download, the user and password in the pop-up dialog are already filled in according to the entries in the Site Manager tab. Clicking OK initiates a successful download.

If, however, I select multiple files and click download the dialog does not include a place for user and password, and after clicking OK the downloads fail. Checking the properties of the individual failed downloads shows that no login info was included.

Question #1: How do I get login info to be applied to multiple downloads at once?

Question #2: How can I provide FDM with a level 2 or level 1 page address and download files from all the level 3 links? I tried to do this using HTML Spider but just got a pile of trash.
