I moved from FDM 3.9.3-1360 to FDM 3.9.7-1638 today but had an small problem with *.sav data:

[*]- I have FDM is installed in c:\app\fdm\

[*]- Took a snapshot of my folders, ran installer, no history or groups info showed up. Exited FDM;

[*]- Recopied my snapshot of *.sav files back to c:\app\fdm\Data\; Same result.

[*]- Made portable version setup from FDM 3.9.3 menu into c:\app\fdm2\Data\; copied my original snapshot *.sav files to c:\app\fdm2\Data\ and it works fine in a portable setup.[/list]

I am puzzled why the first did not work. Was it expecting \Data folder in another location or could I have been initially running a portable setup of 3.9.3 - I can't remember how I setup FDM 3.9.3 1360 5 years ago. How can I tell when running portable setup?

(BTW, I am not seeing bullet symbols in above BBcode list items text lines begin with my text starts with a "-" - is that normal?)
