I had forgotten about this myself until the OP mentioned maximizing, and then it hit me that I had had the same issue before.

No it means you've made the (default non maximized) window too small (short) (or else Windows has resized the window to a default size that is too small for the preview to show). I should have realized that, but I didn't expand your screenshot.

If you make it taller (drag up from the top edge or down from the bottom edge) [b]slowly[/b], at a certain threshold it will show also. I totally forgot about this, ran into it myself a while back.

The missing arrow is key - as soon as it thinks it has enough space for a preview to show, the arrow appears. Conversely, as soon as it thinks it has run out of space for a preview, the arrow disappears.

And this works whether you already have the preview showing or if it is hidden.

Seems the preview isn't available unless Full Screened now, what a terrible upgrade o(>w<)o

Yeah, clicking just opens the file, closing it & ending the process has it start up the same...

OH SHOOT!
After resetting & going Full Screen, the arrow is there!

If that still doesn't work, exit FDM, then make sure to kill the remaining process in Task Manager, then run FDM again and try.

I must have clicked something, the preview of downloaded images/where they are & other info is no longer at the bottom of FDM, can anyone tell me how to get that back?
