Why ask if you don't need it? Just do not enable it in the options. We've added it due to the numerous requests from our users. :)
By the way. It depends on your settings. By default, FDM will rename a new download in case the same file exists already. But if you use this feature - it will overwrite (for this download only).

I have the "Save as..." button checked within preferences however when I download a video, I only see the "download" button when using the "new download" dialog box. What am I missing? How do I use that option?
