Embed FDM in my own application

Post by chriso » Mon May 04, 2009 2:00 pm

Hi,
I'm aware of how to use FDM from a separate application by running FDM as a service (or agent or what it should be called) on my machine and access it from my application via HTTP and localhost. But, is it also possible to use FDM as a library (static or a DLL) and thereby embed it in my own application and just use c/c++ APIs towards the FDM features? I would like my application to control the GUI and also have tighter control than just using HTTP.

So, does FDM provide a library component with a specified API? If not, any plans for this?
thanks
/chriso
