Now Qt is support on Apple Silicon in Qt 6.2 release. This includes both cross compiling to arm64, as well as developing Qt applications on Apple Silicon. Please build FDM for native Apple Silicon https://www.qt.io/blog/qt-on-apple-silicon

Hello,
We're waiting for the Qt framework to support this platform first.

Build native macOS Big Sur ARM64 version (Apple Silicon) + Icon

Good morning,

At present, Free Download Manager on Mac Apple Silicon M1 still runs via Rosetta 2 interpreter (as not yet universal x86 / ARM but only x86).

Image

Is there a possibility that the next version will be compiled and made natively compatible with Apple Silicon M1 and later?

Also, I take this opportunity to suggest whether it is possible to recreate the Free Download Manager icon, in order to fit the macOS Big Sur interface.

Image

It goes a long way with the new interface. :|

Best Regards
