I don't think your VPN is working. Other words the VPN isn't VPN but going through your ISP instead. So double check your settings. But beyond FDM issue we can't deal with ISP and VPN issues.

Believer what you want, I know they track torrent usage and can throttle internet and the IP address of computers. They most likely are more update to date to stop the IP address doing the torrent traffic without affecting others.

Version of FDM? And some sites are known to break download such as FDM from working correctly because they through codes up first before the link become active to download. I use v3 and the Browser plugin and sometimes you have to choose download with FDM to work as not all site will
not recognize Plugin as well and you have to do the other half I mention is right click the link and "download with free download manager" to get it to work. But this is for v3.

I don't think this works in v5 and up but I know v3 has this option setting. I use this alot to save based on uploaded server date to keep track of old and new version.

Some sites are script protected from downloaders and if this is one of those there nothing much FDM can do about it. If the problem persists you will have to find a 3rd party software that can do that.
