It would be handy to have a command line (or TCP control) option to pause and resume download activity.

On my LAN, sometimes I need to free up bandwidth temporarily and I'd like to be able to automate the process.

FDM used to let you specify manual and enter in a download speed overriding the "Low", "Medium" and "High" profiles.

I greatly miss this option.
