Re: Save as option?
Nice. This will help me tremendously, as I rename files a lot while downloading so I know what they are (too many #$%#$@%^#$% "setup.exe" naming conventions amongst a variety of different developers gets old, fast). Doing this will allow me to rename once and then select the file for over ...

Re: Way to force FDM to be used every time with Firefox?
Doesn't matter how you do it - Firefox simply doesn't parse some files correctly, no matter what.

Re: Delayed downloads failing
If 1 hour works, try 2 hours. If that works, try 3 - basically, figure out what the maximum key TTL / session alive period is, and see if you can get those downloads scheduled within that time for the off-peak hours.

Re: Delayed downloads failing
I'm betting that your AWS key / session is expiring. For example, I tried your example URL and got a 403 immediately in FDM. It sounds like you need to figure out how to get a persistent AWS key / enable a persistent session, or else get access to one that lasts longer. One thing that might work is ...

Re: FDM6: Assign a virus scanner to scan each downloaded file
Could it be that you need to add some parameters to help scan the file faster (like don't scan the system memory / system files also, just the file in question)?

Re: [NEW] Vote for upcoming FDM 6 features
My mistake. I misunderstood the methodology. In my use case, though, I download pretty much everything to one DL folder, and then manually move them where I want to after some time, and have FDM set to automatically remove entries when they are deleted (which, technically, moving a file is essential...

Re: [NEW] Vote for upcoming FDM 6 features
That is just an implementation of splitting the download window into 3 parts, and use the tags to determine which part they belong in, without any numbering required. Using the tags would be easier, insofar as they tagging method is already a part of FDM, so why complicate it with a numbering scheme?

Re: FDM 6.14.1.3935 - window closes after download starts?
Fewer options also drive away users when they cannot change something that they don't like. ⋅ A wiki explaining how to set / use any option is probably a good thing. ⋅ As would a FAQ that is actually current again in terms of covering FDM current and its history,. ⋅ As ...

Re: Way to force FDM to be used every time with Firefox?
Thx for the replies guys. Thought it was something on my end. So it's a known issue. Maybe there could be some work around Like the user is allowed to input the site's path and added to a list to force FDM to be used? Or maybe there is something the Web manager can do if we contct them? Just a thou...

Re: Way to force FDM to be used every time?
It doesn't catch all links in Firefox, that is for sure. Because Fx itself doesn't catch all links like it should.

Re: New feature we plan to add: Stream capturing
i don't know about streaming hls, hds and dash type. but i really wish to see FDM 6.x to capture video files with extension *.ts and *.m3u8 and convert it to *.mp4 before downloading and when a user start download then the files should be saved in *.mp4 format not in other format. xvideos.com and x...

Re: Split downloads?
Because, Stormjumper, of a number of reasons - some which is not always the fault of (or resultant of) the individual user. Scenario: User comes to post something on FDM forum, but doesn't realize that they have been logged out for whatever reason (maybe an app is scheduled to clear cookies on their...
