I'd like to know as well.

With no official response, others could port it on their own since it's GPLed.

I don't know if their changes would be accepted upstream tho.

I'm guessing the library that supplies torrent support is probably only for newer platforms. Which would mean that there won't be torrent support on 9x unless they change.

The problem with that is that there is no standard hash function used - there are multiple options, and MD5 is being phased out. It also takes time w/ large files, slower processors/disks. Checksum verification is easily automated w/ Metalink (supported by FDM and most Download Managers) and the has...
