Re: 2 Issues with FDM on Win10 acroos mult browsers
There may be also other problems: 1. A well-known problem with file type internally supported by browsers and download links which don't contain file name. It's described in FDM FAQ for Firefox and linked in known issues. If you have a direct download link (as it seems to be in the case of Rufus), a...

Re: Scheduled download didn't happen
I selected a url https://rkhive.com/rk-download/synth/70s_sci-fi.zip, which is a url for a Soundfont. I then asked to use the scheduler and asked to download between 10 minutes from now until one minute after that (the file is only 85KB ) I don't understand your action. Could you follow the reporti...

Re: Suggestion for traffic limits?
It depends on your hardware and on your Internet connection. For the start you can read older messages:

Re: 2 Issues with FDM on Win10 acroos mult browsers
I don't think it's a problem with FDM. I have already tested it in Firefox without FDM. Firefox has problems with files smaller then 1.9 MiB (or so, possibly 2*10^6 bytes). Larger files were downloaded properly with proper file names and extensions, smaller files were downloaded with HTML wrapper an...

Re: QUESTION - Download a file without creating a folder
Desktop is NOT the best place to keep unfinished downloads. That's why there is a default download folder in your operation system. Don't fight against your OS, use properly its features.

Re: FDM on linux slows down power off / reboot
So there may be some hardware dependent problems. Users reported problems with graphic card drivers, maybe it's something wrong with power management or SSD drivers in your case? I have no such problems with FDM on Linux Mint.

Re: FDM on linux slows down power off / reboot
How many torrents do you have on your download lists? What is the total size of all the downloads?

Re: PLEASE put up all FDM and Firefox problems here!
FDM 5.x isn't in development any more. You should upgrade to FDM 6, where support for video files is better.
However, any download manager won't speed up downloading from many file hosting services which allow only a single connection for anonymous or logged-in free users.

Re: PLEASE put up all FDM and Firefox problems here!
Hey, sorry. Version: FDM is up to date- just told me so when I issued "check for updates". It's not a number. You can download FDM 3.x, 5.x and 6.x versions - which one is in your case? Tests which failed: Download links are welcome. Or at least info, if any file from listed hosting servi...

What FDM version/build have you installed?
What download links have you tested?
Have you tried to use context menu - right click the download link and select "Download with FDM"?

Re: Location of FDM Save Data
FDM itself should warn you when your file was about 6.5 MB in size (it's about hundred torrents and thousand regular downloads on the download list). How could you ignore the warning? Some of maintenance tasks FDM may do only on open or on close so it looks like you have kept FDM running a year or m...

Re: Location of FDM Save Data
I'd like to upload those corrupted save data files in the hopes that the devs can help recover the content (or at least the download list) of all those save data. This has happened a few times over the past decade or so, so it is a little concerning that FDM corrupted those save data for whatever r...
