Re: Can FDM Download All Links Given a URL?
Just use standard methods: 1. Open your browser. 2. Make sure you have FDM extension turned on in the browser. 3. Open the URL in the browser, log in to the website if it's needed. 4. Right click the free space (not edit box, not link, not button, just free space) on the webpage and report, if you c...

Re: Rapidgator.net ?
Rapidgator was excluded because that site used deliberately non-standard webpage code which might cause FDM hang or crash. I don't think it's better now, however, if you are a premium Rapidgator user, you can try FDM and report if it works.

Re: White icon on white team in Debian
Monochrome icons are used on many Unix platforms (macOS, Android, Ubuntu). What does "monochrome" means? Only black and white, 16 levels of grey, anything more? For me it's highly inconsistent - you are forcing to use the newest SSL/TLS libs, but using icons from the stone age. I would us...

Re: White icon on white team in Debian
Alex, do you think that forcing monochrome icon will remove its transparency? I'm afraid it's not that case. You should either remove transparent background from ico/png file itself or add non-transparent dark border which will contrast with the white F shape.

Which questions described in the reporting rules have you answered? Name at least three of them, please, or just admit you're a liar.ilikecheese wrote:I've answered any questions that I've been asked

Why do you even bother replying to someone if you clearly don't read their question? Would you be so kind and follow the reporting rules, please? They are linked in my signature. We don't have any magic crystal ball here so we can only guess what is really going on. If you don't want to provide nee...

What windows version/build?
Do you have any downloads on your download list? In what state - active, finished, scheduled, any torrents?
What about your antivirus (internet security suite)?

You can create subfolders but you can't go outside of "Android/data/ name.yourprogram.here " folder. It is restricted by Android. See older messages here: https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17900&p=48897&hilit=android#p48897 (2020-09-15) https://www.f...

Re: How does FDM calculate free hard disk space
Complete blocking in multitasking system is stupid. You should issue warning with option to continue anyway, especially if download isn't located on a system partition.Alex wrote:When calculating "free" disk space, FDM takes not yet downloaded downloads into account.

Re: How does FDM calculate free hard disk space
So the FDM 3 setting only applied for creating files in the file system when downloading. But my thinking was that a scheduled DL is still, in FDM's thinking, a download, right? So perhaps not so different. It is completely different. FDM 3.x doesn't check free space before starting download at all...

Re: How does FDM calculate free hard disk space
Ahh, yeah, in FDM 3, did we have an explicit option to pre-allocate drive space for downloads? That was another thing, about creating files in file system - should FDM create full length empty file in the very beginning and fill its inner space or write only as much data as it's needed? Now it's ab...

Re: How does FDM calculate free hard disk space
It seems that this miscalculation is a regression. I thought that it was removed some time in the past. I have just tested it for torrent downloads. I couldn't move 2GB file to a disk with 20 GB free space because that space was reserved for other torrent downloads. But we use multitasking OS and we...

Re: White font on white team in Debian
Stop thinking Windows-centric, please. 1. Debian itself has NOTHING to desktop environment (DE) settings. I did tests with three different DEs and in all three cases the results were the same: "White hexagon with embedded transparent letter F and no contrasting border". 2. What way any DE ...

Re: Recent reset of all setting
Unfortunately, FDM 5.x isn't supported any more.
It seems to be a problem with other Windows software or the OS itself, so you should find more appropriate forum to report your problems.
