Re: FDM trying to connect to various addresses
If Windows you should try *SafeMode* and see what happens with torrent. And if the problem doesn't happen then you got malware infections if SafeMode doesn't have issue. Then you need a Computer shop to fix the problem.

Re: Method to auto-extract zip files on completion
You need to have a unzip program to do that. And Windows 10 can unzip zipped files assuming they aren't corrupted files. If so then nothing will fix or unzip a corrupted file. AFAIK there nothing that will auto unzip files-this is for Virus/Malware protection and preventing unwanted infections.

Your ISP rating isn't the same as DWN/UPD speeds there are many factors their side/site and your side that can make or break connections or slow to a crawl. And without any links to verify what is going on this goes mostly nowhere here.

Then what site are you referring to then? If no one can go there to figure what is happening then no one is going to know what is going on.

You might also want to read up on what 403 Forbidden Error means. As I read it also says: The vast majority of the time, there’s not much you can do to fix things on your end. Either you’re really not allowed to access the resource, or there’s an error on the server side of things. Sometimes, it’s a...

I have both plugins installed and update on Chrome and FireFox but I disable them when using the Browser as it catches site and links I don't want it to download until I am ready.

Re: Keeping FDM 3.x alive..
You do know those sites updates their security to prevent such older program as v3 from working and some newer versions. That's why I've told others trying to use v3 to find suitable other free/paid software to do their downloading. What your asking for from v3 is next to impossible to do since they...

Re: Way to force FDM to be used every time?
You have to make sure your addon is active for FDM to work. If not then it will not use FDM when you click a download link or a popup link. Did you check on that. This is what I do for FF and Chrome so it doesn't catch links I don't want them to catch until I am ready then I turn on the Plugin.

I doubt they will since they moved on to 6 on FDM. This is a non-paid program those whom created it made for public use. I still use v3 without issue with the latest plugin. So what problems are you trying to get at here with your posting? That would be something other v3 users might know about as w...
