Re: Free Download Manager FireFox plugin
I'd love for a way to have the plugin developed so that I can either force it to be compatible with the latest nightly builds, or else be able to compile my own with the correct parameters to allow compatibility with the comm-central (aka nightly) builds of Fx. If that could happen, I'd easily be ab...

Re: Free Download Manager FireFox plugin
The FDM Plugin that installed with Build 1294 (1.5.7.9) worked in Fx Nightly 21.0a1, but does not with Fx Nightly 22.0a1.

Re: FDM 3.9.2
Please update FDM so it works with the new nightly build version 22.0a1 of Fire Fox. Thanks. More specifically, the plugin is not compatible in Fx 22.0a1. Mozilla's Add-on page for the FDM plugin says: This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox because of the following: Add-on uses ...

Re: FDM 5.0 Alfa
Just installed (fought the flu last week >.< ) One thing - when giving the users a choice on what to do if the file name already exists, you've left out an important choice - ask every time. Sometimes I want to rewrite, sometimes I want to cancel, and sometimes I want to rename - I don't want to hav...

Re: FDM 5.0 Alfa
Lol - this is what I get for going on vacation for 6 weeks.... I'll be back home next week to put this Alpha through its paces. BTW, can it be installed side by side with 3.x? I'm guessing not since it uses a lot of the same files (from what I'm reading in Usher's posts).... Still it would be useful...

Re: Help an idiot?
Hmmm, interesting. I directly click the link and Firefox tries to DL it using the native DLM. I can right click and select Copy Shortcut and FDM will then catch the link. (You have to ahve Clipboard monitoring enabled in settings). It seems that since WMA is a native format for Windows, Firefox shun...

Re: How to downoad all pdf files of a page?
Right click on the page (preferably not on one of th items, but it can work if you) and select Download all with Free Download Manager . Next, yu'll get a dialog box with a lot of links in it - click the Filter button to filter by extension. Do not add the periods (.), just the extension i.e. ZIP PD...

Re: I want to download jpeg image files but get php instead.
Some websites are coded like that so that you cannot get the file directly, b/c they are being loaded dynamically via PHP code.
I've found that a workaround that sometimes works is to go to hte thumbnail and right click --> save target....
But even that does not work every time.

Have you checked to see if .ZIPs are in the skip list?

Re: FDM 3.9 Release Candidate 1
There are many browsers out there, and most are updated regularly. Instead of trying to accommodate all of them, what about dynamically downloading the file needed for the browsers FDM has to work with? So if someone installs FF 17.5 at some point in the future, FDM simply connects to this site and...

Re: All feature requests (Please post requests here)
Another feature request. If a file hash is entered, and then upon beginning the download, if the filename is found to exist, can you compare hash? If different then allow client to automatically do (as user sets in options): ⋅ Replace ⋅ Rename ⋅ Resume Since you can alr...

Re: All feature requests (Please post requests here)
Any love for parity archives and the ability to verify file sets and (optionally) fix missing / broken files using .PAR files?
Not necessarily a top priority I know, but it would be nice....

Re: RAR files partial download
Actually, any site that makes use of Parity archives to provide 'fills' of any type, especially Parity Archive v2.0, would love to see people being able to download partial files. Since FDM supports resuming, as long as the server also supports resuming, there should be a way to implement saving the...

Re: FDM 3.9 Release Candidate 1
Hahaha. Confirmed.
The plugin 1.5.7.1 works on Nightly 32bit but not on Nightly 64bit builds.
Welp - at least I now know why I've never had any success with the plugin, even after it was touted that it worked.
{sigh}

Re: FDM 3.9 Release Candidate 1
Please add support for Fire Fox Nightly build 14.0a1. Hi! Firefox releases new versions very often last times, I guess too often. Besides, there are a lot of unstable versions of alphas and betas, which demand to perform full check testing before including addon into FDM release build. It will take...
