Re: Please provide a new compatible plugin for Firefox 39 Beta and 38.0.5 Beta
I did some more tests as there were reports that Firefox 39 nightly doesn't work properly. I have bumped maxVersion in FDM plugin to 44.* (next ESR will be 45), cleaned startup cache in Firefox, downloaded and installed the newest Firefox nightly build. All extensions have been detected by Firefox ...

Re: Please provide a new compatible plugin for Firefox 39 Beta and 38.0.5 Beta
Sorry Usher, User testing I can do to a degree, but not code or programming testing or correction. I can confirm when I was "sort of" User testing whether FDM would work with newer versions (whilst waiting for the delayed Firefox 39 to be released to Beta channel) that FDM in addition to F...

Re: Please provide a new compatible plugin for Firefox 39 Beta and 38.0.5 Beta
Just one useful hint: You can easy recognize if the FDM plugin for Firefox is active. Right click any link in Firefox and look at the context menu: - if FDM plugin is inactive , you can see "Download by FDM" menu option; - if FDM plugin is active , you can see "Download with Free Dow...

Re: Please provide a new compatible plugin for Firefox 39 Beta and 38.0.5 Beta
Extension disabling in Firefox is currently based on a declaration in install.rdf and on your action when Firefox reports new extension detected. Other changes may not cause disabling - read f.e. FDM FAQ for Firefox troubleshooting , question "How to fix broken FDM plugin for Firefox installat...

Re: Please provide a new compatible plugin for Firefox 39 Beta and 38.0.5 Beta
It may be a problem reported in old topic about Mozilla Extension Signing . Wouldn't that mean the FDM Plugin 1.7.3.2 would be disabled in Firefox. I was under the impression (maybe mistaken) that Extension Signing is not in 39 Beta and maybe not in 40 yet, but is in 41Nightly (but can be disabled ...

Re: FDM 3.9.6 RC
HI Usher It's also a very common issue. In the past there were similar reports for Kaspersky AV/IS blocking files from newest FDM builds, and lately there have been more reports about problems with Malwarebytes software. Someone just should report false alerts and crashes to Malwarebytes developers....

Re: FDM 3.9.6 RC
I then rebooted PC and closed ONLY mbae-svc.exe (leaving mbae64.exe & mbae.exe *32 still running) I then opened and closed Firefox several times and THIS TIME Firefox closing properly again Every time This suggests the conflict is something to do with mbae-svc.exe or something it uses It's expe...

Problem: . With "Monitor flash downloads in browsers" enabled the above versions upon closing leave firefox running in memory. I believe it's a bug of Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit. Its component mbae.dll prevents Firefox from shutting down. Hi Alex, Thanks for the info. I reinstalled flvsnif...

Re: FDM 3.9.6 RC
Please download and run Process Explorer . It can create mini-dumps. Run it, find a process, right click it and choose Create Dump | Create Minidump. This one should be much smaller in size. Hi Alex :) , Not sure what time period you are operating under. About 15-16 hours ago I uploaded my FULL fir...

Please provide a new compatible plugin for Firefox 39 Beta and 38.0.5 Beta
HI, (I mentioned this in "FDM 3.9.6 RC" Topic here: http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17242#p40754 but felt I should start a more specific Topic). O/S: Win7 (x64) FDM: FDM 3.9.6 Build 1549 using flvsniff.dll Version1040 (as version 1058 causes issues with Fir...

Re: FDM 3.9.6 RC
The flvsniff.dll build 1058 is causing a major issue (on my PC) with Firefox 39.0b1, and also causes similar types of issue with 38.0.5 Beta. (I have not tried older flvsniff.dll). Try with flvsniff.dll build 1040 and report if it helped. Hi Usher, Thanks for your interest and suggestion. I can con...

Re: FDM 3.9.6 RC
FDM RC 1549 FDM Plugin 1.7.3.2 flvsniff.dll Build 1058 (install .rdf adjusted to 40.* Max) O/S Win7 x64 Regretfully FDM is bypassed by 38.0.5 Beta and above deferring to Firefox downloader. More worrying IMHO however is that with FDM installed even if ignored by Firefox I have come across a serious ...

It seems we have missed one action, see edit in my previous message. Hi Usher, Sorry for late reply I have been busy and did not see until now.
