Chrome plugin... and chrome in general

Postby bleuf1sh » Sat Jan 30, 2010 11:58 pm

Hello Everyone,

I have been using FDM for only the past year or so and I have completely switched to the chrome browser. I noticed however that the plugin which FDM uses has not been catching everything it should and it is the browser and the ever evolving times to blame.

I have edited the source for the plugin internally (privately) and would like some assistance from anyone else capable of debugging and compiling the code.

For now I have been able to find 2 methods of correcting this (i have been mainly working on 2):

1) creating a browser extension for chrome using the already developed fdm plugin and have the extension pass the url to the plugin which passes it over to fdm

2) correcting the fdm plugin by manipulating the mime types it reserves from the browser (this method as only so far semi worked)

any help would be greatly appreciated (even from you the developer who has given the impression he's moved on)

thanks
