Upgraded UI = downgraded features?

Longtime fan. Build 4520. Where's the progress widget? Where's the "advanced" options in the download popup where you can change # of connections for servers that hang at 99% with multiple connections? Flashgot doesn't recognize FDM5 which makes it fairly useless in Firefox. The Chrome extension still works as good if not a little snappier. The downloads themselves seem faster as well, but I also just upgraded my router. The Youtube function is sweet, but I've never understood the fascination with downloading Youtube videos. My question would be, if you're able to parse url's for a site like Youtube who intentionally makes it difficult, why couldn't you add the functionality to parse the easy ones (Jdownloader used to do this decently).
