File extensions

Postby Bruce » Sun Jun 28, 2009 9:25 pm

I just started using this program to download .mkv files and the first few I did ended up being saved as the default index.php. I have since been naming the files with the .mkv extension, but the first few I downloaded aren't listed as mkv files. Any idea how I can change the actual file extension to mkv so it will be recognized as such? I'm running these through the Western Digital HDTV device but it can't find these initial .php files. I tried right clicking and renaming, but that doesn't actually change the true extension. Help is appreciated. Thanks.
