All URLs Unsupported

I'm suddenly unable to download ANY file with Free Download Manager. The application reports 'Unsupported URL' for every URL I try, even ones that work as expected in Chrome.
I'm using the latest 64-bit version for Windows 10, 6.15.3.4236 (4731f7d). I installed it recently on a clean Windows reinstallation, and it worked fine for a while. This has only been occurring for about the past week or so.
Is anyone else seeing the same problem?
Thanks,

Hello,
Your current FDM's installation is damaged. Try to reinstall.

Pardon me, I failed to mention it at first. I did try that, but the end result is the same.
Are there more steps to a clean uninstall than just running the installer?
Thanks,

Hello,
This means that some third-party software (maybe some buggy antivirus or even malware) keeps damaging FDM6 installation (e.g. by removing its essential files).

Same here. all links give unsupported url error.
Tried to reinstall, but nothing changed.
I installed winth winget, then upgraded it, and after latest upgrade the error occurs for all link,
Perhaps a bug in new version build ( 6.16.0.4468)?

Hello,
OS?
Please archive all FDM files (e.g. under Windows they are typically located in C:\Program Files\Softdeluxe\Free Download Manager) and upload somewhere. Send me the link then.

Hey, any progress on this? I am having the same issue on version: Version: 6.16.2.4586 (232d605), Windows 11. It was working just fine two days ago, and now every download is redirected to my default browser that has FDM extension.

Hello,
There is no any progress on this. We can't fix bugs of the third party applications.

Which third party application?
I am using FDM 64 bit from this website only.

I think this is caused by some buggy antivirus. It can also be a malfunction of your hard drive.

Only AV I have is windows defender, and hard disk are pretty fine. I use bitlocker on every drive, maybe that's why?

Try to temporarily disable Windows Defender and install FDM again. Let me know if this helps.

Hello,
Do you have downloadswww.dll file in your FDM's installation directory (typically it's C:\Program Files\Softdeluxe\Free Download Manager)?
