Sound like a bug of Qt framework. It seems the only thing we can do is to just restart FDM6 automatically when your computer is waken up from sleep mode. Would it be a good enough solution for you?

Alex,

Do you mean that you would code FDM to automatically restart itself when it detects the computer comes out of sleep?

Not that the user has to manually do it?

Sounds ok for me , as this what I already do manually. (Or may be just restarting internaly in FDM the connection to the netwok, don't know your architecture, just sugesting, it can be a matter of just calling a function closeConnection and OpenConnection ;) )
Do you want me to repport on the issues on the QT Forum?

I hqve found this on the QT bug reporter, it seem to be fixed zith QT 5.15 https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-8 ... network%22

You can updqte to this version or you can try to fix the issue in the current version by restarting only the connection and not whole FDM when network error is triggered? What do you think?

Can we have posters login so we know whom is talking and whom is requesting help? Using guest is like guessing whom is whom is asking here. And no one can adequately to address the person in question.
