I'm not interested a(nother) tool for downloading videos but this news encourages me. It's good to know that development is ongoing. Please also take action to clear out the spam from this forum while we wait. And I also hope you continue to keep FDM open source.

Any video downloading is a powerful feature that will be more frequently used in some countries that can't easily access to most foreign video sites such as youtube.com, livedigital.com without a proxy, due to the strict laws.

When is this likely to be available please? Will this be compatible with Windows 7 and Firefox 3.6?

I think because server operators complained that FDM was overloading/crashing their servers.
