Hy All,

I am running FDM 2.5 Build 758. I had kept a zip file for download this morning and continuously got the following messages...

How to go about this, and What is the reason behind this?

Thanks

And one more thing, during this process, the file is being downloaded at a pathetic rate of 1Byte/sec. :( ..though my internet connection speed is 384kbps.

The file seems to be unavailable for some reasons (maybe the link expired). 1 b/s could be server response to keep connection alive while waiting for the file or for the proper link. You should go to the download site and try to restart download. When it starts, do not stop until the download will be completed.

Thanks Usher.

I use Firefox 3.6. The file gets downloaded properly with the default download manager of firefox. It doesn't happen with FDM.

I get the same error while trying to download from rapidshare. I am using FDM ver 3 build 848. However when i use flashget to download the same links they start instantaneously. My login credentials are perfectly fine and some files download properly and some don't.

There may be some hidden form fields on the web site, that FDM does NOT catch when you click Submit/Download button. Firefox submits all the form fields and gets a proper link to download from the server.
If you use FDM 3.0.848 (not beta), you can try to download the file with Internet Explorer, it should work OK.

FDM 3.0.848 works OK with free Rapidshare download in Firefox and Internet Explorer. Maybe flasghet plugin blocks FDM plugin or maybe you click too fast for FDM to catch the download?
