No vote for the localization (multilingual version) !
Surprising ? Not really, those who are disturbed by the language stayed in the previous version, and thus, do not vote!
I thus wish to draw the attention of developers on the perverse aspect of this vote.
If you are not careful there, you go to leave many users on the path !
I hesitated for a long time, because of this problem of language, and am not certain to continue if a multilingual version does not go out.
Thanks to the English-speaking friends to understand that they are not alone in the world.

I would like FDM to have the option of having it ask for the download destination.

I vote for all the features available in the classic FDM 3.9.x. In particular, I want the ability to create download groups based on file extensions, with individually configurable default folders. After initiating a download, I want a dropdown menu of recent destinations, with a text box and folder explorer, to allow the destination to be quickly specified. I also want a small popup near the system tray that tells me when the download is finished and offers a link to the folder. If there must be a progress window during downloads, then I want it to be as small and unobtrusive as possible.
I am genuinely astounded that you've created a faster new FDM lacking all of the features that make classic FDM a must-have installation. The classic FDM is a perfect download manager. The absence of ability to import data from the classic program into the new one is very worrying.
Incidentally it's confusing that you're calling the fully featured FDM 3.9.x "Lite" while your new feature-light FDM 5 is by implication a full product, which from my perspective it isn't at all.

Any chance?
Open downloads from the notifications.... like the old version?
Status in the system tray... in the old version is green downloading... red error and normal standby
