Page link is "NOT" same as download link.

Downloads Link - Which gives you a download ( example :: http://abc.....xyz.mp4)
Page Link - From where you get the download ( example :: http://abc.....xyz.html)

Sometimes if we downloading something big, it happens that the link expire after sometime (maybe after 10 min or maybe after 1 hour), and download wasn't completed.

Now it is not resuming, as the download link is updated and you have the old link.

Then how to Resume?

In that case we have the only option to change "Download URL" but we don't remember the exact web-page URL (from where the download was taken), especially if there are multiple downloads . :cry:

Then we have to browse history in browser to get the exact page link where i can get new download URL.

It will be very helpful if FDM store the page URL from where the download was taken.

Then it will be just a matter of click to navigate the exact page, "Open Download Page" option will open the webpage from where the download was taken, then just copy and updated new URL (whose link was expire) to resume download or hit download again FDM will resume.

You can set FDM to always overwrite already existing files, or ask what to do. See Options.

Thanks for adding "Open download page" option in menu, but it seems to be not working correctly.

Open Download Page option only opening domain, not the exact page.

Like I downloaded a stock video from -

When I click open download page, practically it should open exact page -
https://elements.envato.com/abstract-diamond-1-PTSNAJQ

But it is opening -
https://elements.envato.com/

This is of no use, i already knows the domain.

It seems it's a problem of web browser extension working in Chrome. It works fine in Firefox. We'll address it as soon as we have time.

There is a bug with this update, FDM is notifying about the update when I check for updates, FDM is trying to install the update, but when FDM relaunches itself, it is still in 6.13.2.3510

more bugs:

1. when i update fdm it changes my light theme in fdm to dark, i have to manually change it back each time i upgrade.
2. when i just updated to the new build it automatically started resuming the 2 latest downloads in the list.
