I can confirm that Elephant add-on (elephant.fda) version 1.0.5 does indeed download youtube videos

Free Download Manager showed that "No Updates were available" and I had elephant.fda v1.0.1 set to do an automatic update, but when FDM was no longer able to download videos from youtube I knew something was wrong.

I noticed meowcateatrat's post about an update to version 1.0.5 but had to remove "elephant.fda v1.0.1" first - as it gave an "unknown error" in Free Download Manager. So I downloaded the updated elephant.fda , then in FDA clicked [Add-ons] and "InstaII Add-on From File"

I am able to download 8K videos from YouTube AND it is a really FAST download indeed!
FDM downloaded "8K HDR IMAX | Target -02:15.00 (Top Gun Maverick) | Dolby 5.1" in under a minute!

Dear developers;

You have developed a good piece of add on but kindly do some changes like
1. keep on updating the current add on
2. Design the add on that it doesnot require any python to be installed in the system, completely independent and works with fdm..

Hi guys! I've updated the add-on. Version 1.0.9 now. Changes: YT-DLP updated to the latest version (Release 2023.07.06).
P.S. FDM should be able to update an already installed add-on to this version automatically.

i tried to download entire channel from youtube but it only showed only half of the videos in the list.

also add support for xvideos and xhmaster.

also dailymotion download protocol.
