split 'em and download 'em
split 'em and download 'em
Hi, one of the features touted by FDM (https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/features.htm) was that it will "splits files into several sections and downloads them simultaneously"
I am wondering how can it show me this feature is working?
I tried to download CentOS images, starting here: http://isoredirect.centos.org/centos/8/isos/x86_64/
While it's downloading, I selected another mirror and added it to the download...I don't see any improvements.
Thoughts?
Thanks...

Re: split 'em and download 'em
open bottom panel, see progress & connection tab if it more than 1, it already running no need for additional link/mirror...to compare try using speed limit setting, make low & med same speed but different max number of connection & per server like for low just 1 and med 8...or compare between fdm and browser?
