Hello,
Could you please send a screenshot/photo?

Hi, friend. I edited the post and added a screenshot. Sorry for the delay, the bug is intermittent.

Hello,
Sorry, FDM6 automatically makes sure (at startup) that all the browser integration components are installed and registered to it. This helps to enable monitoring in browsers without the need to restart them.
But yes, this interferes with another versions of FDM. There is no options to choose between FDM5/FDM6.

Ahh, thanks Alex.

It lacks many features you like but please be more patient. We plan to add many features including those missing from FDM 3.x during this or next year.

So what features are missing that is going to be included? This is pretty vague to start with a list of what will be include or what users from v3. wants included would go along way to make it better.

It's not an FDM bug, it's a WIndows 10 feature.

Read how to deal with snap and split in Windows:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... ur-windows
https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing ... indows-10/

It looks like your FDM window is snapped to the right desktop border and the whole screen is split in two parts equal in width. It gives (1980+1680)/2=1830 pixels, that is more than the right monitor width, so the left part of the FDM window stay visible on the main monitor.
You may do it accidentally pressing wrong keys, pressing keys too fast, using touchpad with multitouch and/or gestures turned on, using mouse with mouse gestures turned on, using multibutton mouse with some actions pinned to additional buttons or to scroll wheel, allowing your pet cat to play with mouse or keyboard, etc.

Hi there,
Can you add support for DNS-over-HTTPS or -TLS?

Do you have any idea when we will be able to test Safari integration again? Do we have any release date in mind?

I might help with English to French-Canadian translation.

Since the latest v5 is working perfectly fine for me, I can now play with this one again and revert (by uninstalling this alpha and reinstalling v5) - so I will start playing and see how it goes.

Note for users of old 6.0 version for Linux. We have fixed the bug of duplicated shortcuts to FDM. But it's not enough to just update to 6.1 version. You'll need to also manually remove all freedownloadmanager* files from ~/.local/share/applications folder and restart FDM.

Linux/Unix type files of gz, tar, bz2 on Windows do not pay attention to the save directory, i.e. for example, C:/Internet Download. Instead they are saved to the root drive C or into the Free Download installation directory.

Found 2 issues.

1) With 5.x latest still installed, I installed 6.1 Alpha - both were running on my system, but in Firefox Nightly it would run FDM 5.x even if I had closed it instead of running 6.1 Alpha.

Fix - uninstall 5.1 and 6.1, reboot, then install 6.1 only.

2) The URL to download a clonezilla .ISO (from OSDN) is failing in 6.1, whereas in 5.x latest it works perfectly fine.

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 Isider's Preview (Skip Ahead) build 18860 (20H1)
Browser: 68.0a1 (2019-03-22) (64-bit)
FDM: Version 6.1.0.1284 (b50b1c6)
URL: https://osdn.net/frs/redir.php?m=consta ... -amd64.iso

Well, it might be that I cannot get to OSDN....although FDM 6.1 Alpha was returning a 'forbidden' error so I didn't think it was the site itself, especially when the page with the .ISO loaded fine.

But now it is refusing to load on my end. Sourceforge works fine with 6.1. SO, I'm investigating more.
