Sorry, I packaged a add-ons to .fda by 7zip , however it is grey in the import list of FDM add-ons.
Does the add-on work in MacOS now? What type of the package format should I use?

Hello,
What is this "import list"?
The list pop-up after "Install Add-on From File..."
Oh, I changed the language from Chinese to English(and other language), and it works now that I can install .fda file
It's wired that I found the .fda file cannot be recognized only in Chinese(China) Language preference.

will we be getting addon support in browsers like chrome so that i don't have to manually open FDM and paste in a link, i light to right click in my browser and select download with FDM. An updated extension could do this and if the addon isn't installed it could display a message saying install the elephant addon for this functionality.

Addons for all browsers are working for me - Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Brave tested.

Thank You meowcateatrat, very helpful addon, why fdm remove download option from chrome extension, on youtube video it is not showing any fdm download option. they remove in new version of fdm 6.16.2, i dont know what they are trying to do. lots of software companies like internet download manager giving download option on youtube they dont give a fuck what youtube or these big tech companies say.

Can anyone modify the addon that donot ask for python install. Only addons will be enough to add into FDM and can download all the supported site by fdm.

Okay, I have the addon installed, BUT it doesn't download the yt video, it downloads the html version of the page. No matter what I do, It never downloads the video itself?

@alex That's a great new feature, I didn't notice it until now...
I've gone through the documentation PDF and example code, is currently no option there to add a settings fields for the plugin itself? Or am I missing something.
For example, I want to create a plugin that will download from websites which require credentials. How can I enable users to enter them for a plugin to use?
