You can use Flashgot extension, just read other posts on forum.

Thanks for the update, build 954. The Firefox 4 plugin is alive and working! Unfortunately, the "ALT must be pressed" option seems to be broken. When turned on, the download never goes to FDM. When simply turned off, nothing else modified, it goes to FDM perfectly.

FDM's "Export settings" doesn't seem to export all of its settings. (Build 931 at least. Or possibly an import problem?) It definitely doesn't save any window sizes and mods (which, if possible, would actually be great). Just some relatively minor problems and thoughts.

I'm pretty damn happy with Free Download Manager. Especially impressed/thankful since previewing JDownloader (for all of twenty seconds), and watching much of the competition unravel. The interface/theme/icons could still use work, but they're not bad. Most of all, though, it just works, is clean of adware/spyware, and is very thoroughly customizable. Not to mention free. Thanks again.

Tom :)

Hello
Is it possible to you to compile and release the x64 edition of new version of FDM? it's highly needed. :D
thanks

I also need one of these 64-bit versions because there is a serious compatibility issue with Windows 7 Ultimate using the 32-bit version of FDM 3.0 onwards. It's only compatible with Windows XP and Vista but not with Windows 7. The program always crashes about 30 minutes after using the bittorrent function of the program without fail.

FDM works fine with Rapidshare if you use Internet Explorer or Firefox. I've just tested it.

FMD does work fine with Rapidshare (and the aforementionned file hosts) but FDM can't handle long lists/queues of downloads as it ends up downloading the "Free/Premium" page instead; please fix.

Some errors remain in this last version, 3.5RC build 954.

One is that the "Notifications" option "Show small notification windows on download completion" does not work. Instead of staying on, the notification window just briefly flickers and is gone. The "Automatically hide: after X sec." option becomes meaningless since the notification windows are always hidden anyway.

Also, in many cases the download does not work under the last Chrome versions, e.g. 9.0.597.94. For example, try to download files from the website http://www.softperfect.com/products/networx/; it only works through the Drop box.

Hi! No, this is not bug. It just closed automatically after the launch of downloaded file. This is by design.

More work on flash downloading, maybe orbit and xVideoServiceThief will retire someday and fdm take control

Automatic detection of UTF-8 encoded names of files
Now this will be useful if can parse the web url fro download name %20 etc. Though most times i find fdm has problem where there is a ? in the url and sees nothing after the ?

Download It
Hope its not like orbit's half arsed attempt to intergrate a Download It button with firefox hahaha

[OT]
Orbit beware it is shitware now, scans your pc for everything it can find. Sends this home and opens a window to say which of your programs are not upto date. Keeps the connection open, probably even while orbit isn't running. Hope fdm never goes down that route - ever. Only way can use orbit now is via a sandbox, wouldn't let it at a real os ever again.

Can you be more specific? I've used more than a few builds with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and not had it crash that often - I have had crashes, but nothing as frequent as you are describing, more like every 3-4 days without a reboot.
