Crash while using Russian translation

Postby sw@n » Mon Aug 16, 2004 3:48 am

Good time of the day for all:!:

:cry: I'd like to report a bug in FDM v1.0 build 178, which I'm
sure concerned exactly with translation.

Heart of the problem: Total FDM crash while creating batch download!

Now I will try to describe all step by step:

1) I translated English language file into my native Russian language
and put it to appropriate folder;
2) Then of course I changed program's interface;
3) After language changing the group "Other" became "Прочее";
4) Next I added some more extensions in the group properties;
5) After all of this when I'm trying to create batch download with extension
included in the "Other" group properties (never mind which .txt, .doc, or any other) I'm getting "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION!" window;
6) This window arising when the program trying to detect default folder for this group;
7) And finally clicking on the "Send report" or "Cancel" button in the above said window, completing total crash of the FDM.

Also it is impossible to change default folder for the group "Other" while
using national language. I think that reason is the same...

Note: There are no problems with any other group irrespective of language in use.

:!: All essential files including "fdm.dmp", my translation and some screenshots I've sent to FDM support group this morning.

I hope to get reply...

Thanks in advance + Best regards

Swan

P.S. It's a pity that I couldn't to put some screenshots here...

Hello everybody :!:

:) Now this bug is fixed. Many thanks to FDM development team
for their prompt reply! You just have to redownload the program
and reinstall it. I did it without uninstalling of the previous version.
It seems that everything is O'K. Thanks a lot once again!

Swan
