PLEASE put up all FDM and Firefox problems here!
Re: PLEASE put up all FDM and Firefox problems here!
Some time ago Kaspersky and other security software listed FDM as malware. As it hasn't been one-time accident, it may happen again, see this topic: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11398shreeyashd wrote:still getting the same problem. Only happening with fdm addon.

Login to your email account using webmail in your browser and check spam/junk folder, If you can't see any email from FDM, add freedownloadmanager.org domain to whitelist in your webmail and try to register once again with FDM WebExtension turned off.Jorge wrote:BTW, it IS IMPOSSIBLE to register to the forum. I registered, NEVER GOT the confirmation email. wrote a message to the admins, NOTHING HAPPENED.
FDM WebExtension older than 3.0.6 may block some elements of a webpage, including some forms (CAPTCHA etc.) on this forum, so your previous actions may be invalid.

Already did that. I NEVER GOT THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL. PERIOD.
Re: PLEASE put up all FDM and Firefox problems here!
FDM comes with its own native client so you must have installed another extension, possibly fake or malware.*Kerry-4444* wrote:Im getting this on some downloads.
Note that:
1. There is a third party WebExtension called "Download with Free Download Manager (FDM)" by belav, see here: https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/a ... d-with-fdm and this exxtension works with its own native client that must be downloaded separately.
2. There is also fake extension "Download with FDM (Free Download Manager)" based on belav code which seems to call coinhive.com javascript miner, see here: https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/a ... d-manager/
DO NOT INSTALL IT! It's been already reported as abuse (see reviews there), but the more reports the sooner it will be removed from Mozilla website.
I don't know which extension you have installed as both of listed above ones use the same native client by belav.

Use account on another email server. Some lame postmasters don't know how to properly manage spam.Jorge wrote:Already did that. I NEVER GOT THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL. PERIOD.

This seems to be caused by a Firefox Bug. Without FDM sometimes a random Picture opens in a new tab.

I downloaded the first one, don't know why? lol I deleted it and installed the one in FDM's installation folder. Mozilla needs to kill those fake crap fast.

Usher wrote:All the links with no extension that have been reported to start download seem to work OK now with FDM WebExtension v.3.0.6. I haven't tested links with broken layout or login form for Humble Bundle, aliexpress or any other website yet.
Now it works correct on aliexpress.

Re: PLEASE put up all FDM and Firefox problems here!
It's because of incomplete WebExtension API implementation in Firefox. You can only use some workarounds in FDM. For more info RTF FDM FAQ, please.

Running Firefox Nightly build 59.0a1 (2017-12-08) (64-bit) and FDM with addon v3.0.6 and I have 0 problems accessing Google Drive.
I noticed that you said that you install FDM - which installs the Fx addon v3.0.3 which exhibited that exact behavior on multiple sites.
I suggest that you visit this post by Usher viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16047&p=45147#p45147 and download the updated addon for Fx, v3.0.6, install it, and then try your tests again.
