FDM 6.12.1 for Windows 10 is freezing on start for me with a whtiescreen.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling latest.

Got any ideas?

Same here... FDM won't load on Windows 10 (64x)

I've downloaded the latest and uninstalled the previous and White Screen only, No X to close, need to manually close it:

"Free Download Manager is not responding"

Can you please do the following steps so we can fix the bug?
1. Reproduce it (i.e. FDM should become unresponsive).
2. Open Windows Task Manager, Details tab. Find fdm.exe process in it, right click on it and choose "Create dump file".
3. Archive created file, upload it to some file hosting service (e.g. anonfiles.com) and send me the link via the private message on this forum.

Could you please also send me the log file of your FDM?
It's located in this folder: %localappdata%\softdeluxe\free download manager\logs

The problem is caused by a third party component loaded into FDM: NahimicOSD.dll developed by A-Volute. Typically, it's located inside of C:\ProgramData\A-Volute folder.

In your case, it's located here: C:\ProgramData\A-Volute\DellInc.AlienwareSoundCenter\Modules\ScheduledModules\x64\NahimicOSD.dll.

Maybe you could try to just remove this dll. But I'm not sure if this is safe and will not break some important things for you on your PC.

I removed it and add it somewhere safe just in case.
