FDM mac dedicated graphic card issue

hi is it me or FDM only works with dedicated graphic card on macs?
as soon as I start FDM my mac switches to dedicated nvidia graphic card from item integrated.
which seems like unnecessary.

FDM can use hardware acceleration. Currently it works automatically, but the devs plan to add option to turn it on/off on demand. See the topic linked below, please:

What is the version of your macOS? What is the year of your MacBook? Is it early 2012 or older?
