FDM download speed is 10-15% lower than Orbit Download Manager and GetRight.
I've tested it several times with url:
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/conte ... 0_Scan.exe
It takes FDM 105 seconds to download this file.
Orbit Download Manager and Getright - 94 seconds.
I've tested it several times.
Conditions were equal for all the download managers: "number of sections" for this url was set to 2 (also i'm using http proxy).
I tried to download 2Gb files from my dedicated server the same way - the speed was 10-15% lower than that of Orbit and Getright.
I suppose that the problem is in some inner buffer of FDM or file partitioning algorithm.
Please check it and fix the bug.
