Thanks for providing this great software freely.
I'm using it as my main downloader, however I found two parts that need refinements.
1. "Add download" window doesn't let you add a new download task if it doesn't get file size or a connection to the link. This is a bad decision for this software as sometimes the host might not be reachable due to different reasons (temporarily down, or not supporting multi-thread downloads or the user is offline and wants to add a link that he find through a text or a message, etc). An example is the following site that doesn't allow its users to download simultaneously. If you're already downloading a file, you cannot add 2nd download link to FDM.

Code: Select all

downloadly.ir
https://downloadly.ir/elearning/video-tutorials/aws-certified-solutions-architect/

Test links are:

http://dl3.downloadly.ir/Files/Elearning/Udemy_AWS_Certified_Solutions_Architect_Associate_Latest_Exam_2020-6.part2_Downloadly.ir.rar

2. It'd be good to add another feature to scheduler that if you're already downloading through a link and you add a new download task, it can go to a queue and will be started after the current download task finishes. Consider the following scenario:
I'm setting threshold for simultaneous download to x ( could be 1, 2 or any other number for downloading tasks simultaneously). for instance, lets consider x=1.
Now, if I add a new download task, I expect the task to go into a queue and start after the current download task finishes (x=1 means single concurrent download). If there is no current download task, then it can start downloading.
In case x=2 or more, then it can start new downloads as long as concurrent download tasks have not passed value of x.
I didn't find this feature in FDM, if it is available, please inform me how can I use it.

Thank again for this great software
A happy user
