'.torrent' files
'.torrent' files
I'm far from being an expert on the inner workings of bittorrent, so be kind...
Some torrent sites now only let you download the .torrent file (or provide a magnet link).
I have the .torrent extension associated with FDM.
When I download a .torrent file and try to use it by clicking on it, nothing happens. If I drag it to the FDM window, the .torrent file downloads again.
For example the .torrent file downloaded from : http://kat.ph/debian-linux-6-0-4-i386-dvd-t6370545.html doesn't work with FDM.
There is a note under the torrent download button that says: P2P BitTorrent client Vuze
Is it just that the format of these .torrent files is specific to Vuze?
Thoughts?
Win7 64 bit, FDM 3.9 build 1249
