Lite version could be even liter

Hi,
I am looking for a way to build my own custom version of the FDM based on the lite version but without the Flash video downloads, Site Explorer, HTML Spider, Media preview/convert and Opinions components.
Is it possible without big changes in the code? If so, how can I do that?
In the upper right corner of this site I see "Suggest an idea" banner. I like a way how the Miranda IM project is designed. I mean program core only + everything other available as plugins. That is my idea. Please devs do it and make FDM better!
