Why whenever a new download is added to FDM, It's stared automatically?
Most of the time it's not necessary to download the file immediately and it's really frustrating that I have to pause it manually.
I hope someone understands the lack of this feature.

Yes and I'd be grateful. I have already suggested this option to be added and I hope it will be considered.

I support the request. Fdm has the best tag system I've ever seen in downloaders, but I can't use it if the files are already downloading.

Please add a pause when adding downloads.

My perfect scenario: upload a bunch of links - files or torrents, by browsing sites (without confirmation dialog). After that, I go to the fdm to combine them into groups. There are various reasons: something is too heavy, or not interesting now, or the server has restrictions on downloading per day, or your Internet provider has limit. So I can choose what to download now, and what to leave for later, while retaining all links to the files in fdm.
