I'm using the latest 1519. can find something strange.
FDM will create 2 folders named 'Free Download Manager' and 'FreeDownloadManager.ORG' in the %appdata%(Roaming environment variable) folder. And the FreeDownloadManager.ORG folder contains one empty Free Download Manager folder...

It seems FDM team wants to move Free Download Manager folder to FreeDownloadManager.ORG\Free Download Manager ??

Any chance of fix??

Video/Audio merge not happening here with the new version 1519 too.
I tried 480p for both links.

1st link, fdm mentioned audio selected & will merge automatically but the downloaded file was video only. Tried one more time & checked that the audio was selected but the downloaded file was video only.

2nd link, fdm mentioned audio selected & will merge automatically but the downloaded file was seperate video & audio. Tried again with the same result.

And thanxx for adding right click video download function i.e when I rightclick video clip & select download with fdm, I get youtube download detected, do you want to download video & on selecting yes, it gives me all the 1080/720, etc... option. So no need to play video to download with this option & I like this.
But one query, to download videos, is it required that the option "start download automatically (after silent creation)" to be enabled?
Coz if its disabled then videos dont download & fdm gui shows download stopped.
But other file download works fine with the option disabled.

Both ways works for me for both links, but for manual download you must FIRST download AUDIO file otherwise FDM cannot merge it with video stream.

This folder should be used for service files (*.sav) conversion, f.e. when updating from FDM 3.9.4 to 3.9.5.

Promised details follow now.
It seems FDM 3.9.5 build 1519 has no problems with Youtube monitoring and flash video download in Internet Explorer. No crashes, no hanging IE processes, no missing toolbar and tab bar after reopening IE.
Firefox extension seems to stay untouched. Try to do as follows:
- open some Youtube page in Firefox, f.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uh0eWc6wmv0
- click "Download with FDM" button - you should see picture like that
Image
- click "Cancel" button and go to some video listed on the right, f.e "Pixar's 'Lava' Preview - Disney•Pixar Short Film - Official | HD"
- on the new page click "Download with FDM" button once again and you will see... old download window once again.

As you see, Firefox extension caches Youtube download links and doesn't refresh them when you go to any new Youtube page.

FDM 3.9.5 RC build 1519 can't download Mp3tag v2.68 direct link (http://mp3tag.de/en/download.html) you click in the link and FDM will only download a download.html file.

Do you use copy-and-paste or click link in the browser? Are you going to follow the reporting rules and provide needed details without asking?

I've updated the post above with more details, anyway this does not require major explanation because is easy to test, and even clicking or copying the link manually in FDM or in the browser, FDM will only download a download.html file.

The problem is that, I've deleted both the 2 folders then they will be created again when FDM starts.

You just said it's for conversion then why FDM still create a useless old Free Download Manager folder even I'm using 3.9.5? Or If this is needed, then why not create a temp folder just in Free Download Manager rather than got a new FreeDownloadManager.ORG??

This is NOT the reason FDM create 2 folders in the AppData environment variable

Why are you still ignoring the reporting rules? What browser, what OS, what actions?

Now some clarification follows:
This URL looks like a link to some download web page (a page containing links to download files):
http://mp3tag.de/en/download.html
Tbis URL may be a direct download link:
http://download.mp3tag.de/mp3tagv268setup.exe

Direct - means you can copy and paste the url to any download manager and immediately download a file without any redirections (local or server-side). No javascript in use, no cloud mangling...

I've writen "looks like", "may be", because many file hosting services DO NOT provide direct download links and you don't know what exactly stands behind the link until you click it in your web browser. The same link may be redirected to a web page for anonymous (not logged-in) users or to a download link for (logged-in) premium account users.

I'm only a user so I can only write my own opinion. I don't like current folder organization, but you have forgotten that we have got FDM 5 alpha also, so there may be more FDM folders.
I think it should be another folder organization:

- main FDM folder for all FDM apps
%Appdata%\Free Download Manager.ORG

- subfolders with short names for specific FDM versions
%Appdata%\Free Download Manager.ORG\FDM
%Appdata%\Free Download Manager.ORG\FDM5

- other subfolders created when needed (f.e. backup of FDM 3.9.4 sav files) and deleted if they were only for temporary use (f.e. folder for sav conversion).

There still may problems with video and with Unicode support.
For example use English or any non-Cyrillic (non Windows-1251, Russian etc.) Windows version to download "Ленинград — Мусор" video from different sites.

1. Download directly from Youtube works OK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOeAXKUK6aM#t=16
You should see proper Russian names in a "Download Youtube video" dialog window.

2. There seems to be no possibility to download embedded Youtube video from other sites, see:
http://vk.com/sosimc
There is no "Download with FDM" button there.

Continuation follows in the next message...

...now continuation follows...

3. Flash video download still doesn't properly convert international characters. Try the following sites:
http://klippoman.ru/load/rossijskie_kli ... /4-1-0-634
http://videochart.net/video/84636.86eb1 ... de0a820c26
You can see file names either with underlines like

____ _________ - _____. _____ _____ - __________ _____ - ________.mp4

or with non-converted UTF-8 bytes like

Ленинград — Мусор - Videochart.net.mp4
Ленинград — Мусор - Videochart.net.mp4

(it's "Ленинград — Мусор" as seen using Windows-1250 and Windows-1252 charset)

All tests run from current Firefox 36.0.1 version.

It's OK if it works like the way you said.
%Appdata%\FreeDownloadManager.ORG\Free Download Manager\
%Appdata%\FreeDownloadManager.ORG\Free Download Manager 5\

But this is annoying like the way I've said.
%Appdata%\FreeDownloadManager.ORG\Free Download Manager
%Appdata%\Free Download Manager\

You just don't get my opinion though.I'm talking about there are 2 folders in %appdata% root folder, but you are talking about there will be more in %appdata%\FreeDownloadManager.org\ sub folder.
