Direct download from Google Drive
Direct download from Google Drive
I incurred in this behaviour:
1) Open Google Chrome
2) Open Google Drive website (drive.google.com)
3) right click on a file and select "download".
4) You are offered to download the file. Start the download and then cancel it
(click on the arrow in the newly created bar on the bottom->Cancel)
5) Write "chrome://downloads/" on the URL bar.
6) You will find the canceled download with a link under it. Right link on the link, select "copy link address" and paste into FDM
The problem is that the right file is NOT downloaded and instead a "ServiceLogin" file is downloaded.
This method works perfectly on a competitor program, called Internet Download Manager.
I guess that it either processes the ServiceLogin file automatically or some message sent by FDM to the Google server is "wrong".
I request to fix it.
