Scheduler function on 'never' does not function?

I am testing FDM and I cretaed a spider task for downloading log files. I scheduled it at 10.00 hours every day with option expires: 'never.' The schedule was seen in the Scheduler tab list.
The next day it downloaded the logfiles, showed the downloaded task in the bottom half of the scheduler tab. However removed the task from the task list. The next day it did not downloaded the log files.
So the option schedule the task and expire never did not work.
I use Win 2000 Prof.

Any suggestions, comments how to achieve the never expire task to perform every day? :?:

I tried the 'never' option combined with ' every two minutes'
DFM only downloads ones. Then it stops.
