Relink ~ Expired Link
Relink ~ Expired Link
The most missing feature in FDM is Relinking the Expired Link. IDM (Internet Download Manager) has this feature since a generation ago.
Basically what this feature do:
If any download's download link is expired
User can click this option (Refresh Download Address)
This opens the webpage from where the download was taken
User can download the same download again
Downloader will catch the download and refresh expired link with new one.
Downloading will resume where it left off.
It is highly beneficial when there are lots of download of bigger size.

Re: Relink ~ Expired Link
Currently you can use "Change URL" option, but you have to provide a new link manually. So the feature you have proposed is just incomplete in FDM. Note that there is NO guarantee that the download will be resumed, it depends on the server side.Faizan wrote:The most missing feature in FDM is Relinking the Expired Link.
Please, don't abuse emoji. Exclamation mark is designated for warnings, spam reports, etc. rather than for feature requests. The next time I may be less careful and just delete topic which looks like spam.
