Would it be possible for you to add the version numbers of the release in the properties of the '.exe' installer? It currently lists the 'File version' as '0.0.0.0', it would be better if it said, for example of the current release, 'File Version: 3.4.0.892'. This would let people know if they have the latest version of the installer.

G'day All,

I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong, but I cant seem to download this FLV file from you tube. I keep getting a message that says "Failed to found information about this web page. Please force your browser to reload it." I've tried this with IE 8.0 and Avant Browser 11.7 and with FDM 3.4.892 tray menu. Here is the link:

Still command line in portable (no fdm originally installed on pc) not working.
I can only add ONE task from command line, then it only brings on top the fdm window, but no new task added.

Try to clear Internet Explorer's cache (and restart browser then). This should help.

Thanks for the help. I think I know what the issue may be. I mainly use FDM at home. At home the process is working great (with Windows 7). Yesterday, when I sent you this message, I had tried the new version at work where I have to use a proxy server. Now FDM seems to download my http links okay through the proxy server ... however, I think the FLV video side of it may not be ... just a thought or maybe its because I use WinXP at work? Now I seem to get the following error at work:

"Flash video monitoring module is not loaded. Make sure FDM is running and you've enabled this option in FDM (see Options | Downloads | FLV)"

I have check my settings and they are set correctly and I have FDM running.

Anyway ... as I said ... I mainly use it at home and it's working great there.

It will work on 64bit platforms with 32bit browsers. We plan to add support for 64bit browsers.

not for me. i'm using firefox 3.6 32bit and ie8 32bit on windows 7 64bit, but both browsers cannot download flash videos from youtube.
with firefox i get the message that no flash video is found and with ie8 (by using getit-button) the same message as sdhengsoft gets ("flash video monitoring module is not loaded")

What about IE6sp1 and Opera 10.x plugins? IEFDMDM.dll and NPFDM.dll are still not fixed.
