My apologies - I did not see the "before you post" topic prior to posting! I'm leaving this here for possible future discussion but have followed the Idea Informer process as well


FDM already has an option to require ALT when catching downloads. I propose the following changes to this feature:

1. Allow the ALT key setting to be customized to other modifier keys, such as CTRL, SHIFT, ALT, or combinations of these keys

2. Allow this feature to be configured to bypass FDM OR to invoke it. The user would have a 3 choices:
a) Require the modifier key to catch a download
b) Require the modifier key to BYPASS catching a download
c) Modifier key not enabled (behave as with current version with the ALT box unchecked)
