"Some browsers" are IE and Edge, more info. We'll issue a new certificate, thanks.

Tried to install v3.9.7 1625, however, it did not work with the latest chrome extension 1.0.26. Had to revert back to v3.9.6 1614.

Since you have removed build numbers from the Downloads page and changelog is not updated for a long time there is no other way to track updates other than checking the forums or enabling update checker in the program itself (which i don't like as i don't like to be distracted by programs to be updated when i'm in the middle of something else). It was convenient to monitor the page automatically. Unless you are going to increase the minor version number instead of the build from now on.

They still lack native messaging or a similar technology needed for integration to work. We tried to write to some Microsoft guys on March 21th; no answer yet.

Hi,

I updated to the latest version of FDM, and installed the latest version of the Chrome extension, but no context menu is displayed in the browser, even though Chrome monitoring is enabled . I've rebooted the system, removed the extension, and added it again (twice), but it still doesn't display. Any thoughts as to why this might happen? I had a look at the extension source, in particular contextmenumgr.js, and noted that the below functions are empty. Is it expected that these are empty? Are they overridden by subsequent definitions?

Thanks,

Webster

function ContextMenuManager()
{

}

ContextMenuManager.prototype.onUserDownloadLinks = function(
links, pageUrl)
{

}

ContextMenuManager.prototype.onUserDownloadPage = function(
pageUrl)
{

}

ContextMenuManager.prototype.onUserDownloadVideo = function(
pageUrl)
{

}

Configuration:
- OS: Windows Vista SP 2 32 bit
- Browser: Chrome 49.0.2623.112
- FDM: 3.9.7 build 1627
- Extension: 2.1.7

Dear User!

1. Please check the checkbox in the settings;
2. If the checkbox is on and in the browser context menu there is no FDM section, please send us a screenshot with the open context menu and a link to the website.

Hi Clive,

Thanks for your reply. The settings are as they should be (https://goo.gl/dFPqk9.) However, the extension shows as greyed out, and options can't be selected (https://goo.gl/NxhOC8.) As you can see, the context menu doesn't contain Free Download Manager (https://goo.gl/BEqNZL.)

Thanks,

Webster

Using Firefox 47 with Free Download Manager light version 3.97 build 1627 I got Flash TV live stream dropouts (Youtube is fine). If Free Download Manager extension is disabled in Firefox addons page, then the Flash dropouts are gone.

I tested to change almost any option in settings of Free Download Manager but without success. Is there any critical setting of Free Download Manager light that is known for this issue? Is there any solution for this problem?

Operating system is Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

Dear User!

When you turn on / off checkbox "Allow in incognito" in the extension, at first, there is really no "Download with FDM" item.

Try to call the context menu again, the "Download with FDM" item should appear.

Regards,
Clive
