Path separator character
Hope someone here can help or point in a direction as to why the what could/would cause the file system path separating character to be shown as a forward slash e.g. Save to: C:/Users/MyWindowsUsername/Downloads

Have you installed WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux)?

No, that feature is not currently installed.

Has anyone else or one of the developer's perhaps got an idea why this is?

We use Qt framework. It always uses '/' separator in files paths.
Is it really a problem for you?

Apologies for only replying now, the FDM board does not send notifications for replies.
It is not a huge train smash, I don't recall it always having been this way so thought there was a possibility that either it's a setting either in the app or regional settings, or an environment variable, etc.
