good old automatic shutdown after finished
did i just miss it or isn´t it there any more? moreover, i def. love your work.....

This feature is already in FDM latest version.
Just click on the settings icon on the top right corner (3 dashes on top of each other) then there should be an option labeled: "Auto shutdown". It is grayed out until you actually start downloading something.

The auto shutdown becomes available in the settings when active downloads are present.
