Just because a person or a group of persons is not using certain features doesn't mean that everyone else as a whole isn't using either. I only wished that some features from older versions were included on the current version which is very disappointing. The features or functions from previous versions that I've used quite often that are no longer in the current version has forced me to look for another software to replace FDM. If there are plans by the FDM team to trim the fat size of their software, I would recommend to have the FDM software count how many times a specific button, feature or function gets used by every user and send that captured data to the FDM team so they can determine with little to no impact to their users what features can be removed based on the data they receive. Similarly to what web administrators and content managers like to know is how many visitors have visited a specific page so they can determine to archive certain pages just to keep the size of their site down to a minimum. This provides the best internet user experience otherwise its call a disservice when you take away something that you may not realize others may rely heavily on during their time of need.

Also I would like to add and to this day I still don't get this and that is why oh why oh why did the user interface get so drastically changed? It was fine the way it looked before. Maybe a tweak here and there to enhance it but an entirely new user interface? New user interface requires having to relearn how to use the program all over again. Which I did and i gotta tell you I'm really not impressed with the new version. To be honest, in the past I used FDM quite heavily, this new version not so much. It doesn't behave in the same manner as the previous version. if that was the goal by the FDM team then you have succeeded in that area. Should have just left it as is. The new user interface has forced me to spend time relearning it all over again when I could have taken that same amount of time getting something else done. The LESS time i have to spend learning or relearning and using a software means i would have MORE time to do other things that I consider equally or more important - like spending MORE time with loved ones. I dunno, I'm just a firm believer of the LESS is MORE.

Anywho, just my two cents worth of thoughts. Or is $20 worth in today's prices.

Could you please tell what FDM3 features you miss in FDM5?

What I miss.
Just like others:
1. Ability to add .torrent without autostart download.
2. Automatic addition of .torrent from a specific folder (set in the settings). Removing .torrent and adding auto-tag (name of this folder) via chechbox.
3. The ability to import / export all list of downloads (with saving tags).
4. The ability to sort by download folder.
Like Vuze:
Search for existing files. For example:
 I downloaded a torrent with 5 files. -> But the creator of the torrent adds a new file. -> I download and launch a new torrent with 6 files .-> If a folder with the same name already exists, it is suggested to update the old download.
Old files are checked by hash, the new one is added to the old folder. The old item on the list has changed to a new one.

But in general, version 5 is very pleasant. Adding tags is a godsend.

I'm a very old user of FDM (since 2010 I think), and I really like this new version!
Only one thing (at first sight) is bad for me : font size on High DPI screens!
The text is way too small on my 15,6" FHD (1920x1080) screen!
Please remedy to this, thanks

Yep !
I wasn't sure if it was a bug / incompatibility whis some playlist because this is available for single videos.

Support for linux please. Option for FDM 3.x like interface.

Not very long ago I started to use FDM, I liked it a lot, but it has a frustrating thing: 'using Alt key' section. Everytime It's necessary press Alt to start Download, which is boring. The other option just don't let you go so basically can't use Alt+Tab. If it were possible to disable this mode would be very cool. Also, a option to change button too.
