FDM 5.1

Please add Support for windows xp.

Hello all,

two problems:

1.) When adding a download using

- newest FireFox and
- Save.tv webarchive

FDM 5.1.17.4597 pops up. After clicking Download it happens about every 25th download that FDM freezes. One then can only kill the process.

2.) Going to sleep after downloads done does not work here.

Can there be a solution, please?

Hello!
I am having poblem downloading from few sites like github. Download get stuck at 90-99% and show "HTTP error 403". Here is two link from github which i have problem with-

I am using win7 32bit and fdm v5.1.17 build 4597.

FDM5 for XP is only supported up to 5.0 Beta. The developers have no plans to extend support beyond that version

Hi Clive!
-I don't use any proxy server
-I use 360 total security

Sorry for dumb question, but I can't find out how to change language in FDM 5.1. In "Settings..." I don't see such box, and can't find any other settings beside those in main menu. And I can't even find Help or Manual in menu! What am I doing wrong? Where should I look for it?

There are no such features in FDM 5 yet. You can vote for the features here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17512

There is no resume feature?
Restart download feature restarts the paused downloads.

And why incomplete downloads & downloads in progress are in main downloads folder? Why not a temp folder for those?

Where to find?

File - Import - Import list of downloads

File - Export - Export list of downloads

In general more than three links should be at the same time, sometimes up to 50 or even 100.

Just posted one week before but issue may have overseen. Problems are:

1.) When adding a download using FireFox (up to date) with online TV video recorder www.Save.tv FDM 5.1.17.4597 catches the download. But after clicking "Download" it happens often that FDM freezes. One then can only kill the process and restart FDM until next freeze happens.

2.) Going to sleep after downloads are done does not work here. I use TimeComX Basic to do sleep after download.

Can there be a solution for problems, please?
