Linux version

Linux version would be welcome as no one Linux downloader have mirror function, schedule function, multiple stream downloads with bandwidth settings, automatic restarting and resuming of broken connections, changing identification of downloader (user agent or referrer) for sites controlling that user is using particular browser (often IE - in Linux it is utopia) and so on, all in one application. Of course it can run in wine, but there is then problem with passing downloads into queue with drop box, right click, clipboard monitoring or even clicking on link in www page (also Flashgot addon in Mozilla seems not working for FDM in Linux). Only manual adding of downloads seems working but if you want to add multiple links at once it doesn't work.
If anybody knows, how to make these functions working in wine, it would be also fine.

Yeah, Linux port would be a great thing.
There on a download page is the following said:
Using this free download manager and accelerator, you can download files and complete web sites up to 6 times faster than before. Also we plan to port it to Linux and Mac OS.
Hope we'll meet it soon, since this software is released under the GPL! 8)

One silly question to go: is the source code hardly depended on WinAPI like the miranda's, so porting means rewriting the software almost from scratch or using winelib?

Thanks a lot guys!
